Happy Birthday Paul Newman!

Today is well-known as an actor, legend, and Hollywood Good Samaritan,
Paul Newman’s birthday. His 1969 movie “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”
was his inspiration to build the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp for children living with serious medical conditions,
and ultimately create his worldwide network of overnight camps called SeriousFun Children’s Network.

As famous as Newman was, he tried to live a “regular” life
and found his philanthropic work gave him the most satisfaction—most notably his commitment to the thousands of sick children and their families served by SeriousFun Children.

Because of friends around the world, all 30 SeriousFun international camps and programs,
including Jordan River Village in Israel, are thriving. We are all committed to Paul Newman’s legacy – providing all children the opportunity to kick back,
“raise a little hell”, and experience some SERIOUS FUN!
